Emerging Leaders Academy

Students enrolled in the EL academy will become fully engaged and immersed in instruction. Students are encouraged to ask questions and will become expert researchers, identifying solutions to a myriad of problems. Instruction in this academy is very "hands-on". Teachers facilitate in the EL Academy while students are given the freedom and space to lead their own learning.

Benefits:

• Students get to explore their curiosities, ask questions and form a new love for learning.

• Students learn how to solve problems that are important to them, including real community issues, more effectively—even learning from failure and possibly starting over.

• Students build on their research skills and deepen their learning of applied content beyond facts or memorization.

​Students may enter the EL academy in grades K - 5.
